Privacy policy

Who is responsible for your data

22Forward Ltd (trading as 22Work), 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, is the data controller. Contact: privacy@22work.com.

What we collect

Your email address; your answers to the assessment; your conversations with the coach; your subscription status; and basic data about how the app is used.

Payments are handled by Link (operated by Stripe), which is the merchant of record. Link collects your card and billing details and acts as a separate, independent data controller for that payment data under its own privacy policy (link.com/privacy). We never see your full card number. We receive from Link limited details such as your email, subscription status and payment status.

Why we use it

To provide the service you signed up for (contract); to keep it secure and improve it (legitimate interests); and to keep the records the law requires (legal obligation).

AI processing

Your assessment answers and messages are sent to our AI provider to generate your results and the coach's replies. They are not used to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Where it is stored and who processes it

Our database is hosted in the UK (Supabase, London region). Some providers below process data outside the UK.

We use service providers to run the app: Supabase (database and sign-in), Anthropic (AI), Stripe (subscription management), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email) and PostHog (product analytics). Where a provider processes data outside the UK, the transfer is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

Link/Stripe is not our processor for checkout and payment data; it is an independent controller.

We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

We delete your account data within 30 days of you closing your account, except what we must keep by law.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed to sign you in. We will ask before setting any analytics cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Email privacy@22work.com.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
